“Which app tells me how much my system will produce tomorrow?” — the honest answer: almost certainly not the one that came with your inverter. Category 1: inverter apps — the rear-view mirror
SMA, Fronius, GoodWe, Sungrow, Enphase: manufacturer apps often show live power and history very well. But they look almost exclusively backwards. For “is it worth delaying the laundry until tomorrow noon?” they offer nothing — and they only work within their own ecosystem. Change your inverter, change your app.
Category 2: weather apps — the wrong quantity
Cloud-cover percentages say little about yield: panels respond to irradiance (W/m²), not to “60% cloudy”, and your roof — azimuth, tilt, shading, temperature — changes the outcome massively. Category 3: forecast apps — the view ahead
